GEA cup denesters feature a patented system for faultlessly picking and placing even the tiniest cupcake cases into indented trays. Our technology reduces manual labor and increases throughput and automation.
Volumetric cylinder depositors from GEA are precise and accurate. Gentle mix handling from hopper to head, and specially designed depositing chambers ensure that the texture of even the most delicate of mixes is not affected. Servo-motor options increase precision and throughput for the most demanding of production lines, and we offer a depositor head that can precisely deliver independent volumes of two different mixes for dual color cakes.
For oiled cake production, we offer an oil sprayer that features a mobile depositing system. Reaching every corner and curve of the mould, our system will dispense exactly the right amount of oil so that the taste of your product is not affected. A GEA oil sprayer will help to ensure that products can be easily depanned using one of our automated overturning or pick and place systems. GEA depanners can be configured to use needles, vacuums or clamps, and if required can place cakes directly into blisters or boxes.
Our ovens feature independent temperature control across each zone, to ensure that every product baked has uniform height, color and moisture content. Sophisticated software and recipe storage capabilities make switching between products easy, while optional heat recovery systems improve efficiency.
Volumetric piston injector systems from GEA dispense with high accuracy, to fill products either vertically or horizontally either as they come out of a tunnel oven or after cooling. Our systems can handle a wide range of fillings, and there is a model that can inject two different fillings simultaneously. The option of additional injecting heads speeds changeover between products.

At the GEA Bakery Experience Centers (BEC) in Italy, our process and food technology experts work with customers to test and optimize existing and new recipes and production processes.
