Breekplaten
Bursting discs are safety devices designed for installation between a 3-way valve and a safety valve. They are used when a greater tightness is required, by controlling the space between the bursting disc and the safety valve and to protect the safety valve against the damaging effects of the working medium e.g. soiling, sticking, corrosion.
Technische kenmerken
- Leverbaar in staal of roestvrij staal
- Aandrijfmedia: koude pekel op basis van glycol EN 378 p. 1, bijv. NH3, R22, R134a en mengsels met koelvloeistof, neutrale, gasvormige en vloeibare media, koude pekel op basis van glycol
- Het is niet toegestaan breekplaten te gebruiken in een systeem waarbij de maximale werkdruk hoger is dan 90% van de lage breuktolerantie. Breekplaten zijn geschikt voor gassen, niet voor vloeistoffen. De breuktolerantie is +/- 10% of optioneel +/- 5%.
