Limited intervention filling for medium capacity powder plants
The GEA HYGiPac R2 limited intervention filling system provides multi-stage filling and bag handling in a smaller footprint than its predecessor – the RBF-500Li. The result is a smaller form factor machine that retains many of the features and functionality of the earlier model.
Being a smaller footprint brings additional benefits in reduced packing room size, services consumption, demand on HVAC and more.
The fully enclosed stainless steel frame reduces maintenance and the enclosed design ensures reliable and safe for both the product and the operator.
The HYGiPac R2 filling and handling process is designed for total control of the bag during operation. Bekroond met het ‘Add Better’-keurmerk
De GEA Unit voor steriel water is bekroond met het GEA Add Better-label vanwege haar bewezen bijdrage aan het verminderen van het grondstoffenverbruik bij aseptische processen.
Door gebruik te maken van regeneratieve warmtewisselingstechnologie wint het systeem thermische energie binnen het proces terug en hergebruikt deze, waardoor het verbruik van hulpbronnen voor de productie van steriel water aanzienlijk wordt verminderd.
Om deze voordelen te verifiëren, is het systeem onderworpen aan een specifieke evaluatie op basis van ISO-normen en onafhankelijk gevalideerd door TÜV Rheinland.
Uit de resultaten blijkt dat de regeneratieve unit voor steriel water, in vergelijking met conventionele condensaatkoelstations, tot 90% minder energie verbruikt, 43% minder water verbruikt en een vermindering van ongeveer 130-141 metrische ton CO₂-uitstoot per jaar oplevert.
Het behalen van het ‘Add Better’-keurmerk bevestigt de meetbare milieuvoordelen van het apparaat, terwijl tegelijkertijd wordt voldaan aan de hoogste normen op het gebied van aseptische veiligheid en procesbetrouwbaarheid.

How it works
Bags are loaded in stacks onto the infeed conveyor where they are automatically fed into the filling area. The bag is presented to the filling system which takes over and fills to the final weight using our bottom up filling technology. Once final weight is reached, the bag is automatically passed to the closing system where the surplus air is removed and the top seal is closed before passing to the integrated process weigher. Bags then exit the machine for further downstream processing.

GEA MAP-technologie (Modified Atmosphere Packing, verpakken onder gewijzigde atmosfeer) helpt klanten de houdbaarheid van haar producten te verlengen. Door zuurstof uit het poeder te verwijderen en te vervangen door inert gas blijft de smaak van een poederproduct langdurig behouden.
