Sanitary design, robust, yield-optimized
Decanter centrifuges in sanitary design for the recovery of animal fats and proteins as ingredients in food, petfood and cosmetic applications.

GEA meatMaster decanter centrifuges are engineered for high‑performance separation processes in fat melting, protein recovery and rendering plants. They are designed to recover animal fats and proteins with maximum efficiency, reliability, and hygiene, making them a core component in modern processing facilities.
Available in 2‑phase or 3‑phase designs and especially for food-grade and cosmetics applications, the meatMaster series adapts perfectly to a wide range of process requirements.
Designed for demanding animal by‑product processing to produce high quality fats and proteins, GEA meatMaster decanter centrifuges are used across multiple process stages, including:
Depending on the application and desired end product, GEA meatMaster decanters are available in two configurations:

GEA Varipond C – always the optimal setting
Feed composition and flow rates can vary significantly when processing natural raw materials. GEA Varipond C allows instant adjustment of pond depth and separation zone — even during operation. Settings can be selected manually or automatically, and optimized operating modes can be stored as recipes in the control system. This ensures consistently high separation performance under changing process conditions.

Spray nozzles clean the bowl inside and outside.

The double‑walled feed pipe enables cleaning of the scroll body and centripetal pump zones.

The box distributor with straight, simple geometry ensures highly effective CIP cleaning.

During CIP, controlled speed changes create turbulences so the cleaning liquid reaches every corner of the bowl and scroll.
Deep pond design for higher efficiency
The deep pond bowl design creates higher pressure on separated solids, resulting in:
External gearbox for maximum product safety
The processing area and drive section are structurally separated. External gearboxes are protected from hot product temperatures and ensure:

Energy-efficient operation
Energy‑efficient GEA summationdrive
The GEA summationdrive provides full torque across the entire differential speed range while supplying only the power actually required.
Key advantages include:

The GEA meat Decanter pro series is engineered for efficient, robust, and cost-competitive separation for the processing of animal by-products.

Rapid and clean processes, high yields and excellent product quality – our customers benefit in many ways with our separator portfolio for the recovery of animal fats and proteins.

Even the best centrifuges cannot function optimally if they are not partnered with control systems of equal quality. For their range of separators and decanters, GEA offers standardized as well as tailor-made solutions for machine automation with many features to meet customer requirements.
