GEA A-Tec - the latest innovations in spiral freezers and chillers

  • CALLIFREEZE®, a new and unique freezer control system for spiral freezers. It offers continuous monitoring of products exiting the freezer and automatically calibrates the freezer parameters afterwards, to ensure that every product is frozen according to optimum requirements, with minimum energy consumption.
  • External fan motors, seamlessly integrated into the A-Tec spiral freezer, allow ease of access and maintenance, with no compromise on all the essential and unique performance features of the range.

Animal by-products from meat processing, such as skin, bones, blood and fat, are valuable raw materials. They can be processed into lard, tallow, collagen or gelatin. In addition to the processing itself, producers within the food production chain must meet high hygienic standards in terms of raw material quality and handling. The newly developed GEA hygienic decanter provides the highest hygienic standard available on the market. This high standard is achieved via special adaptations required for food processing.

The GEA MultiFormer adds appeal to food by forming red meat, pork, poultry, seafood, cheese, vegetables and meat replacement products into virtually any shape. Main differences compared to the standard execution of our SmartPackers are the full stainless steel film feed with sealed bearing rollers and more sloping surfaces to allow water to come off easily.

Service Kits for GEA ThermoFormers

The new Service Kit portfolio for GEA Thermoformers offers predefined and complete packaged kits for all assemblies across GEA thermoformer models and allow for complete and convenient scheduled maintenance, ensuring availability and uptime of the equipment. No browsing through endless lists and searching for the correct part number – just simple and swift delivery. The kits can be installed by customers themselves or by a skilled GEA Service engineer via a Service Level Agreement, which offers support options far beyond routine preventive maintenance.
