Data collection via sensors

Seamlessly gather key machine asset parameters such as vibrations, bearing conditions and more through integrated sensors and advanced system architecture – locally or via secure cloud connectivity. Depending on the machine type, two to three sensors are used. These sensors only measure, but do not switch off the centrifuge.

Cloud integration and analytics

Secure cloud-based storage and services ensure reliable access to data and advanced analytics for continuous interpretation of live and historical data, enabling early identification of irregularities and helping you stay ahead of issues before they escalate. The data connection to the GEA Cloud® is fully under your control at all times. Your machine data is securely stored and hosted in Europe. Only authorized staff and GEA experts (e.g. for remote support) can access your data.

Scalable and secure system architecture

Includes IoT and security gateways for seamless and protected communication between local and remote systems. Our IoT gateways have their own firewall, allow only necessary connections and communication is encrypted. Our gateway only initiates connections from inside to outside, i.e. no open firewall ports are required, protecting you against cyberattacks.

Transforming sidestreams into jet fuel

Transforming sidestreams into jet fuel

The aviation industry wants to use more sustainable aviation fuel, but supply is limited. To meet demand and secure cleaner air travel, suppliers need to unlock resources from existing sidestreams like fats and oils. How to scale up? That’s where GEA comes in.

In 1926, Ramesohl & Schmidt (later Westfalia Separator AG) launched their first bucket milking system. The Kirchhoff family was among the first to use it on their farm in Germany.
