Processing & Packaging solutions for:
To maximise productivity and sustainability while minimising costs we have taken a radical new look at the slicing & packaging line. Rather than seeing a series of loosely connected components ours is a vision of unity: a single line in which all components work in total harmony – as one.
The result? Higher capacity per square meter which reduces operating costs while giving sustainability benefits in terms of power consumption. Overall Equipment Efficiency is increased while making better use of existing floor space. And lines or standalone units precisely configured to your individual needs based on a ‘toolbox’ of available options. Not only easier to operate, a GEA One Line is also easier to maintain thanks to a modular design that shares key elements and spare parts across the different sections of the line.
The modular concept of the GEA One Line means that it can be configured to meet the needs of different applications. Whether for cheese, cooked ham, raw ham, deli products, plant-based meat, cheese substitutes or a whole range of other foods you benefit from overall efficiency plus highly specialised functionality.
Showcasing at FoodEx, the GEA PowerPak 1000, the new entry level thermoformer from GEA, is perfect for the needs of a startup seeking efficiencies or a medium-sized business aiming for packaging innovations. With its impressive capacity of up to 8 cycles per minute, this compact yet powerful machine revolutionizes traditional packaging methods, offering reduced plastic usage, increased packaging speed, and flexibility in pack size.
Showcasing at FoodEx. The GEA UniSlicer L is a high-performance slicing machine - mainly for cooked ham and calibrated products - with respect to slicing quality, high yield, easy and flexible operation. The machine setup allows only manual product loading. The circular blade technology can be used for a very wide range of products and applications.
The GEA UniSlicer is a flexible slicer for smaller batches of food products such as sausage, ham, bacon and cheese. It provides precise, high-quality slicing, from a variety of log shapes and sizes, and offers a broad range of portion patterns.
GEA offers a full spectrum of solutions that align perfectly with the fish and seafood industries’ requirements. We support producers to get healthy, tasty, high-quality seafood while at the same time boost efficiencies, driving sustainability objectives and leverage the value of digitisation.
From single machines to turnkey solutions from packaged pre marinated fish to frozen shrimps or crispy fish fingers. Our value adding solutions and services support producers in all of the following process steps: preparation, marination, forming, coating, cooking, loading, freezing and packaging.

The PowerPak and PowerPak PLUS can be equipped with the innovative PowerJet, the new evacuation and gassing system developed by GEA and particularly suitable for use with paper-based and mono-materials. This solution avoids the use of side hole punches. The result? Extremely low and uniform residual oxygen content in any food package with very low operating costs. The GEA PowerHeat, with its ultrathin heating plate and individually controllable heating zones, allows to form packaging of consistent thickness, resulting in great quality. It boosts productivity by up to 10% and offers energy savings of up to 30%. The PowerHeat allows the use of recyclable mono-materials and the potential to reduce plastic without compromising on packaging quality and functionality.
Showcasing at FoodEx. The GEA AccuJector is equipped with 2mm OptiFlex needles system for optimal brine distribution, excellent brine retention and minimal drip. The 2mm brine injection system features an advanced needle head to accurately control the individual needles that are adjusted automatically by air pressure. Needles retract and stop injecting if obstructed by a bone to avoid brine pockets and bone damage. Because of the close needle pattern, for some applications tumbling is not required. This means the machine can run in-line and products can be packed immediately after injection or transported directly onto a further processing line.
Main product applications include boneless and bone-in poultry products, bacon and fish.
Showcasing at FoodEx. The GEA SuperChill brine chiller is designed to control brine temperature fluctuations during injection. Constant brine temperature throughout the injection process helps to ensure that the correct amount of brine ingredients is delivered to the product. This also benefits shelf stability and product quality.
Fluctuating brine temperature can impact the brine pick-up in injected meat and fish products. The GEA SuperChill prevents these fluctuations by cooling thin and viscous liquids to a fixed temperature of between 2°C and 4°C. Reliable and accurate cooling means far less variation in brine pick-up and staying as close as possible to achieving exactly the desired brine content for your products. Accurate brine injection also gives you better overall yield, and so helps to maximize the value of your enhanced meat, poultry and seafood products. Improving brine pick-up over the longer term can result in significant annual savings, and potentially SuperChill system payback within just months. Developed as a stand-alone unit, the GEA SuperChill can be used with both GEA and non-GEA brine injection systems.
Showcasing at FoodEx. A true multi-tasker, the versatile, user-friendly GEA CutMaster Gen3 bowl cutter cuts, mixes and emulsifies a wide range of food products. Now you can quickly switch between ingredients and product types, from coarse chopping to very fine emulsions.
Speed and quality are key features for equipment investment, so we’ve designed the GEA CutMaster bowl chopper to help you achieve both, and give you reliable, consistent products, and a high yield for downstream processing. Featuring a GEA TopCut VSH (Versatile – Safe - Hygienic) knife head, the machine can work at exceptionally fast cutting speeds of up to 162 m/s. Demonstrating highly efficient particle reduction, the GEA CutMaster equipment can give you emulsions that have right binding consistency and firmness, as well as uniform colour and taste.
The GEA CutMaster is perfect for a wide range of product applications, including course to very fine sausage, fish, poultry, pork, beef, vegan, vegetarian and meat-replacement products, processed cheese, sauces and a variety of basic products used in the food processing industry.
