Optionally, it is available in ATEX design. The pilotMaster has special protection against erosion and corrosion and thus against aggressive substances and materials used in the chemical industry. Thus, all parts in contact with the product are made of high-alloy duplex steels, super duplex steels or Hastelloy C276. Depending on the application, the seals are made of NBR, FKM, FFKM, EPDM.
The pilotMaster is the ideal machine for customers to reliably upscale to their production capacity. The centrifuge offers maximum flexibility in bowl speed from 1,000 RPM to 6,500 RPM, a differential speed range from 1 to 80 RPM without changing pulleys, and the same geometric configuration as the larger production machines. Chemical cleaning after the separation process is possible.
Easy adjustment of differential speed ranges I (1 - 15 RPM) and II (10 - 80 RPM) to respond to changing products and product conditions is possible with the GEA Hydro Drive. Adjustments can be made in under five minutes and without the use of tools or changing pulleys.
GEA centrifuges are not mass-produced products. Rather, they must be selected and adjusted for optimum use, taking into account the user's specific process requirements. Tests and analyses can be carried out at the customer's site or at the GEA Test Center for separation technology in Oelde.
