GEA Group enters Germany's leading stock market index DAX

Effective 22 September 2025, GEA will be included in the DAX, Germany's leading stock market index. This was announced by ISS STOXX, a subsidiary of Deutsche Börse Group, yesterday evening as part of its regular index composition review. GEA will enter the index via the so-called “Fast Entry” procedure. With this step, GEA belongs to the 40 largest publicly listed companies on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

GEA's new headquarters unites modern workplace and sustainability

Open, connected, sustainable – GEA has opened its new corporate headquarters in the “maxfrei” urban district of Düsseldorf-Derendorf. On the site of the former Ulmer Höh prison now stands an architectural landmark that sets new standards for modern working and urban integration. Flexible open-plan offices, green roofs, smart building technology, and 40 EV charging points create a workplace that unites collaboration, creativity, and climate protection.

GEA mandated to build world’s largest integrated dairy facility in Algeria

At a formal event in Algiers, Baladna, a leading Qatari dairy and food producer, the Algerian Government, and GEA – represented by CEO Stefan Klebert – took part in a contract signing ceremony, enabling the construction of the world’s largest integrated dairy farm and milk powder facility in Algeria. GEA was mandated to provide a comprehensive range of dairy farming and processing solutions. This project is one of the largest single orders for GEA to date. Milk powder production is planned to commence in late 2027, with gradual scale-up of production volumes over subsequent years.
