GEA Visco Booster Unit
Fuel quality can vary significantly, especially when operating with heavy fuel oil. Differences in viscosity, temperature and pressure can negatively affect engine performance, efficiency and reliability.
The GEA Visco Booster Unit (VBU) automatically conditions fuel before it reaches the engine. Installed between the fuel supply and the engine, it continuously adjusts fuel viscosity, temperature and pressure to meet the exact requirements of the engine manufacturer. The result is stable engine operation, improved fuel compatibility and reliable performance across varying fuel qualities.
