How a milking robot changed a mother's life
Michele Schneider's life took an unexpected turn when she married her husband Virlei, an aspiring dairy farmer, and the two started dairy farm Fazenda Inovação Schneider Milk in Brazil. Being a newcomer in dairy farming, Michele saw her passion for the animals and the farm grow quickly. And so did her workload.

La historia de la centrífuga GEA comienza en 1893, cuando Franz Ramesohl y Franz Schmidt iniciaron la producción de su separador mecánico de leche patentado, allanando el camino al procesado de lácteos moderno. La innovación permitió superar un importante reto de su época: cómo suministrar leche a una creciente población urbana en la Alemania de finales del siglo XIX. Y ayudó a impulsar una industria en auge. En 1913, se les unieron otras 67 empresas en Alemania que fabricaban centrífugas, muchas de las cuales estaban situadas cerca de su planta de Oelde. Tras liderar la tecnología de separación durante 130 años, GEA sigue replanteándose sus centrífugas.
