Filling Lines - Aseptic

GEA offers a variety of top-class sterilization technologies for any PET preform, PET/HDPE bottle and closure, designed to provide each customer with the best solution to their needs

The filling of sensitive beverages demands high levels of hygiene and safety, therefore the initial definition of a new aseptic project is crucial to obtain the best results. GEA offers a complete range of solutions for container sterilization – which is an essential part of the aseptic filling of sensitive, shelf-stable beverages:

  • H2O2-based sterilization technology on PET preforms, combined with an aseptic blowing module (GEA ABF)
  • H2O2-based sterilization technology on PET preforms, featuring a blowing equipment which is not part of the aseptic process (GEA DBF)
  • H2O2-based sterilization technology on PET/HDPE bottles (GEA Whitebloc Aseptic)
  • PAA-based sterilization technology on PET/HDPE bottles, for both high speed (GEA ECOSpin) and low speed (GEA Modulbloc) capacity productions

Thanks to the wide range of complementary technologies available, GEA can support its customer in selecting the most appropriate technology and sterilization system. Starting with a thorough evaluation of production objectives, including the environmental conditions in which the filling line will operate, GEA can assist in defining the right product and container for you.

GEA assists customers from the earliest stages, turning processing concepts and needs into successful projects without compromising food safety.

GEA sterilization technologies are combined with aseptic filling modules, closures sterilization modules and capping modules specifically designed for aseptic applications, making the process appropriate for any kind of sensitive drink, including high and low acid varieties, those with and without pulp, fibers or particles, and both still and carbonated beverages.

In addition, GEA supplies fully aseptic, standalone units for filling and emptying industrial bulk containers.
