GEA OptiCoater

Working principle
A conveyor belt carries the product, which is submerged by a four-layer curtain to ensure full coverage of the top of the product. The bottom of the product is covered while passing a small dip construction. Optionally a bottom flow box can be applied to ensure
irregular products are coated completely. The conveyor belt speed can be adjusted by frequency converter. The correct quantity of batter is set with an adjustable valve in the supply line. A special designed hygienic blower blows off excess batter on upper product side, where as excess batter on the bottom is taken off by a scraper or an additional bottom blower pipe. Bottom blower pipe can be placed as an option depending on the application. Blower volume frequency controlled and can be adjusted to suit the application.
Extreme short change over times by easy self-emptying drain underneath the machine. Blower can be opened easily without additional tools for inspection and cleaning. No hoses between pump and curtain but by means of quick release pipes for maximum access and inspection (no loose parts). Full and easy access to all of the machine interior surfaces by means of gas spring loaded belt
construction.
