At Chillventa 2026, taking place October 13–15, GEA will present a comprehensive service portfolio for heating and refrigeration in Hall 4, Booth 345. The centerpiece is a live demonstration showing how GEA derives specific recommendations for action from operating data and combines digital services with maintenance expertise and rapid spare-parts supply. GEA will demonstrate how operators can increase system availability, reduce unplanned downtime and optimize total cost of ownership throughout the equipment life cycle.

Service as a performance partnership
GEA’s approach to service goes beyond conventional life-cycle maintenance: Digital insights, specialized expertise, genuine parts and structured processes come together in a performance-driven partnership. The goal is to increase availability, boost productivity and support more efficient use of energy and resources. The live demonstration at Chillventa illustrates this commitment through a realistic maintenance scenario.
How service and digital solutions work together
Using a maintenance scenario involving a GEA Grasso V 300-2 reciprocating compressor, attendees will see how service and digital solutions work together. The demonstration spans the collection and assessment of relevant operating data, diagnosis, and the selection of appropriate maintenance measures and genuine parts. It will feature the Digital Operations Center, Cloud Connector and GEA Omni control panel, among other solutions. This integrated approach supports informed decisions, predictable maintenance and more efficient system operation.
GEA InsightPartner® Blu-Red® Care: Intelligent insights for proactive maintenance
GEA InsightPartner® Blu-Red® Care is a digital solution for industrial heating and refrigeration systems. It continuously analyzes machine data and combines it with GEA’s process expertise to provide transparency into system operation and flag potential issues early based on data trends. A dashboard provides clear visibility into system condition and fault analysis, supporting faster and more targeted troubleshooting. By turning machine data into actionable insights, Blu-Red® Care helps operators optimize uptime and performance, reduce unplanned outages and free their teams from time-consuming troubleshooting.
GEA InsightPartner® Blu-Red® Care is supported by the GEA Digital Operations Center (DOC), the team behind GEA’s digital service ecosystem. DOC helps ensure reliable platform operation, supports connectivity and onboarding activities, and continuously enhances the solution with new functionalities and use cases. By combining digital expertise with deep refrigeration knowledge, the DOC helps customers and service organizations get the most value from GEA Blu-Red® Care throughout their digitalization journey.

GEA Service Kits: Everything needed for scheduled maintenance
GEA Service Kits bundle the genuine parts required for defined maintenance tasks in one coordinated package. This simplifies preparation and reduces the risk of a critical component being unavailable during a scheduled service visit. Designed specifically for GEA equipment, these parts support safety, reliability and consistent performance. Standardized kits simplify ordering processes and make maintenance times more predictable. The demonstration will show how a digital diagnosis can identify structured maintenance requirements that can then be addressed with the appropriate Service Kit.

GEA BluShop: Identifying and purchasing genuine parts digitally
GEA BluShop is the B2B e-commerce platform for identifying and ordering spare parts for screw and reciprocating compressors from GEA. Authorized business partners can search by part number, serial number or GEA project. Personalized iBase installation lists provide access to parts lists, drawings, 3D models, parts documentation, Service Kits and prices. The platform is designed for PCs, laptops and smartphones, enabling flexible procurement. Combined with digital condition information, GEA BluShop shortens the path from diagnosis to the required genuine part.

The GEA Heating & Refrigeration Technologies plants in Berlin (Germany) and Den Bosch (Netherlands) are continuously optimizing and digitizing their spare parts ordering processes by introducing a business-to-business e-commerce online application for regional and national branches and GEA authorized dealers: GEA BluShop. GEA BluShop heralds a new era in retail and combines the cutting-edge technology of e-catalog systems with the convenience and accessibility of an ERP-integrated procurement platform. (Photo: GEA)
