GEA Aquarius has with the FlexFormer range the right machine for the job. After forming, the lollipops will be immediately wrapped in a beautiful sandwich wrap style.

After forming the solid or center filled ball lollipops or fancy or 3D lollipops a unique take-over transfer wheel has been developed to take the lollipops out of the die set towards the wrapping area. This servodriven wheel makes it also possible to change-over to a different width/diameter lollipop. Together with the easy exchange set for the die set you will be able to change between ball lollipops and/or 3D lollipops in approximately 2 hours. With the new feature steady positioning of the lollipops, from transfer unit via grippers towards the wrapping area, the lollipops will be smoothly taken through the sealing roles. The latest feature we developed is the preheating system which will ensure a lower sealing temperature of the film and avoid the sticking of the film.
Very flexible, quick changeover between sizes or shapes of lollipops are possible as well as easy adjustment for different stick lengths. The GEA FLexFormWrap has less down time thanks to the auto-lubrication system and an extensive machine damage protection package is included. With the clean in place unit the down time of the machine due to cleaning will be kept to a minimum of approximately 20 up to 30 minutes when cleaning the die set.
The lollipops are wrapped into a sandwich wrap style immediately after forming. To avoid deforming or losing any design detail the lollipops will be cooled in our PopCooler F cooler directly after being formed and wrapped. The sandwichwrap style wrapping will give you the opportunity to present your ball, fancy and/or 3D lollipops in a transparent wrapping to give the expressional features and details of your lollipop a further appealing look.
Multi-forming possibilities such as ball, fancy and 3D lollipop shapes from 22 up to 35 mm. Forming can be done up to 700 lollipops/ minute; depending on diameter/ width of lollipop as well as wrapping width. The GEA FlexFormWrapper also has the possibility to centre fill ball, fancy or 3D lollipops and color positioning.
