GEA increases order intake and profitability in Q2 2025; upgrades guidance for full year 2025

GEA once again achieved increases along all key financial performance metrics in the second quarter of 2025, including a significant improvement of the EBITDA margin before restructuring expenses. “Our continued strong performance in the second quarter underlines the excellence of our global teams and our strategic clarity. We operate in resilient markets and have set the right priorities with our efficiency and transformation programs,” said CEO Stefan Klebert.

GEA mandated to build world’s largest integrated dairy facility in Algeria

At a formal event in Algiers, Baladna, a leading Qatari dairy and food producer, the Algerian Government, and GEA – represented by CEO Stefan Klebert – took part in a contract signing ceremony, enabling the construction of the world’s largest integrated dairy farm and milk powder facility in Algeria. GEA was mandated to provide a comprehensive range of dairy farming and processing solutions. This project is one of the largest single orders for GEA to date. Milk powder production is planned to commence in late 2027, with gradual scale-up of production volumes over subsequent years.

GEA opens New Food technology center in the U.S. to boost alternative proteins’ scale-up

GEA officially opened its New Food Application and Technology Center (ATC) in Janesville, Wisconsin, on July 17, 2025. The USD 20 million facility is the company’s second global Center of Excellence dedicated to alternative proteins and sustainable food solutions as alternatives to traditional foods such as meat, dairy, seafood and eggs. GEA’s first ATC was launched in Hildesheim, Germany, in 2023. The new facility expands the GEA Janesville campus, which has served as a site for production, repair, logistics, and training since 2024.
