Add Better standard
The Add Better standard ensures that every product undergoes an assessment based on industry standards and concrete data, meeting the ISO 14021:2016 ecolabel requirements. Each calculation is validated by TÜV Rheinland.GEA‘s Add Better solutions
Our independently validated Add Better products offer better performance and resource efficiency compared to predecessor products. Solutions range from a marine separator that uses up to 9 percent less energy to a water saving unit that reduces the cooling water consumption for separators by 100%. More than fourty solutions already carry the Add Better label.
TÜV Rheinland validation
Un label ambiental validado por TÜV para soluciones eficientes en el uso de recursos
El label Add Better y el proceso de evaluación subyacente, desde la recopilación de datos hasta el cálculo y la documentación, cumplen con los estrictos y transparentes requisitos de las ecoetiquetas en el estándar ISO 14021. ISO 14021 define una serie de requisitos estrictos, pero no requiere validación por TÜV.
GEA tomó este paso adicional de forma autónoma. ¿Por qué? Porque somos ingenieros y un label confiable y de confianza es crucial para nuestros clientes. Queríamos que nuestros procesos de evaluación fueran correctos, beneficiarnos de los aportes de TÜV y hacerles saber a nuestros clientes que la transparencia es nuestra prioridad con Add Better.
En colaboración con TÜV Rheinland, desarrollamos un riguroso proceso de recopilación de datos, cálculo y documentación que se utiliza desde 2023 para evaluar una amplia gama de soluciones de GEA y expandir nuestro portafolio Add Better.
