SMM 2026
Meet us at Hall A3, Booth 316.

The maritime industry is navigating demanding waters. New regulations, future fuels and ambitious climate targets are reshaping the way ships are designed, built and operated. In this changing environment, trust becomes a decisive factor: trust in proven engineering, reliable operation and one partner who can take responsibility for the complete solution.
At SMM 2026, GEA shows how this confidence can be built into the fuel transition. With integrated marine solutions, high-quality technologies and global service support, GEA helps shipowners and shipyards reduce complexity and move forward with greater certainty.
Visit us at SMM 2026 in Hamburg, booth A3.316 and talk to our experts about the technologies shaping the next steps toward Net Zero.

Reliable methanol fuel supply for the next generation of vessels.
Engineered for the safe and reliable operation of methanol-powered vessels, the GEA methanol Booster Unit pressurizes and conditions methanol to the precise parameters required for engine injection. Designed for continuous operation under demanding marine conditions, it ensures stable fuel supply and maximum reliability.
Built on more than 25 years of booster expertise and over 130 years of marine fuel handling experience, the unit was developed in close collaboration with Everllence. Approved by all major classification societies, it provides a future-ready solution for the growing methanol market.

Precise fuel control for safe and reliable engine operation.
The GEA methanol Valve Train forms the critical link between fuel conditioning and engine injection, precisely controlling and metering methanol for safe, dependable engine operation. Designed to perform under demanding marine conditions, it ensures accurate fuel delivery and seamless system integration.
Developed according to the official Everllence design package, the valve train is approved by Everllence and certified by DNV for both 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Combined with the GEA methanol Booster Unit, it delivers a fully integrated, future-ready fuel supply solution for newbuild and retrofit vessels.

Biofuel purification excellence.
Biofuels significantly cut greenhouse gas and sulfur emissions but pose new technical challenges.
The GEA biofuel Separator, built on our proven GEA marine Separator technology, addresses these challenges by effectively separating water and solid particles from various biofuels. This leads to more efficient combustion and fewer engine deposits, enhancing performance and longevity. Adaptable to HVO, FAME, SVO, and PPO, it ensures optimal fuel purification tailored to your needs.

High uptime, easy maintenance, and lower costs.

Revolutionary two-in-one-solution.
The GEA bilgEGR Solution is a versatile system designed for both bilge water treatment and EGR wash water purification. This innovative solution minimizes equipment and installation costs associated with the discharge of EGR wash water and bilge water on board.
With its practical installation and dual functionality, the GEA bilgEGR Solution offers an efficient and cost-effective approach to managing marine water treatment needs.

Unmatched capacity for EGR wash water treatment.
The GEA NOx Separator is specifically designed for purifying EGR bleed-off water before discharge into the ocean. This advanced separator effectively reduces the oil content in bleed-off water to meet international standards, which require a maximum oil content of 15 PPM.
With a flow rate of up to 10,000 l/h, the GEA NOx Separator sets new industry standards, ensuring compliance and efficiency in marine engine EGR technology.

Marine compression.
GEA supplies GEA Grasso screw compressors for sustainable and natural refrigerants, suitable for BOG (boil-off gas), LD (low duty), gaseous ammonia fuel or other applications e.g. CO2 capture.

Engineered components for safe and reliable marine fuel systems.
GEA AWP Solutions combine engineered valves, control components, oil management and fuel supply systems for demanding marine applications. Designed for maximum safety, reliability and performance, they support the transition to alternative fuels such as methanol and ammonia.
Tailored to individual customer requirements and certified to international standards, GEA AWP Solutions deliver the precision and durability needed for both conventional and next-generation marine fuel systems.

Navigate the future.
With GEA's advanced equipment, the future of intelligent shipping is already on board. Our solutions integrate seamlessly with ship management systems, enabling real-time data processing and transparency. This allows for enhanced control, visualization, and analysis of various processes within the maritime network.
GEA’s digital-ready separators support preventive maintenance, proactive optimization, and continuous unmanned machine room operation, all supported by the latest OPC specification for efficient machine data communication.
