What brought you into agriculture / farm technologies?

Family tradition played a big role. I come from a family of cattle producers who were already involved in livestock farming before emigrating from Europe to Argentina, and they have continued working in the industry in Argentina ever since. That background naturally led me to stay connected to agriculture and to be interested in how technology can help the industry continue evolving.

What makes your work meaningful to you?

Cows give us such valuable, high-quality food that I feel my work should contribute to making a difference in their welfare. Being part of something that helps improve animal well-being is very important to me.

How does your role contribute to the future of dairy farming?

My role is to connect technology with the cows and the people who work with them. The goal is to help farmers get the most out of technology so they can produce more and better, while also improving animal welfare and the working conditions of the people caring for them. Ultimately, it’s about maintaining a healthy relationship between people and animals on the farm.

What will modern dairy farming look like in 10 years in your opinion?

It will look very different from today, with greater integration of technology throughout the farm. There is no doubt that technology is the key to continuing to produce sustainably, improving efficiency, supporting animal welfare, and enabling better farm management.

What change would you most like to see for women in agriculture?

Today, many women are working in agriculture and proving to be excellent at caring for animals. I would like to see more women in leadership roles within agriculture, which are still largely male-dominated, so their skills and perspectives can help shape the future of the industry.
