GEA Scan-Vibro sifters for food applications benefit from low power consumption and high efficiency sifting. CIP compatible and designed for 24/7 operation, our equipment is available with a cleaning system that helps to reduce blinding and keep the screen mesh open during operation. A cost-effective solution is available to meet all particle size separation requirements.
Sifter vibration frequency, oscillation and stroke length can be adjusted to ensure effective removal of dust, water, lumps and other unwanted particles. Gentle product handling helps to preserve product quality and reduce product loss and waste.
The screen fastenings can be removed quickly, without tools. This speeds downtime for cleaning and also makes it relatively easy to swap between screens with different mesh sizes, when it’s time to change products or processes.
GEA Scan-Vibro sifters are also built with lubrication-free motors and can operate continuously for prolonged production cycles and less frequent routine maintenance stops. Low maintenance requirements helps to reduce overall operating costs.
