designed for continuous operation

GEA Scan-Vibro Sifters for food

GEA vibrating sifters are designed to handle a wide range of food applications, including cereals, frozen vegetables, freeze-dried products, cheese, convenience foods, food ingredients, fish, vegetables, poultry, meat, salt and sugar. Customized versions can be supplied for sticky or adhesive products that need to be separated. With a strong focus on hygienic design, our sifters can be manufactured to comply with USDA 3-A and EHEDG guidelines.

GEA Scan-Vibro Sifters for food applications benefit from low power consumption and high efficiency sifting. They are designed for 24/7 operation and are available with a cleaning system to keep the screen mesh open during operation. A cost-effective solution is available to meet all size separation requirements.

Owing to the combination of oscillation and frequency of vibration — as well as stroke length — the sifters offer extremely gentle product handling. This means that the quality of the product is preserved, whilst dust, water, lumps or unwanted particles are efficiently removed.

For ease of cleaning, the screen fastenings are designed to enable quick, tool-free removal. This also facilitates the efficient changeover of different screen mesh sizes on the same sifter to suit different product types or processes.

Low energy consumption and lubrication-free motors with long intervals between maintenance help to reduce operating costs during extended production cycles, especially when continuous operation is required. Our sifters combine trusted technology with a continual program of innovation aimed at maintaining price/performance leadership.
