The expansion reflects steadily growing demand for reliable industrial refrigeration and heating components, especially for higher pressure and temperature applications, across food processing, cold storage, industrial manufacturing, and marine sectors in North America. Customers in North America now have access to local sales, application support and service through GEA Systems North America's established network of refrigeration and heating experts.
For more than 60 years, GEA AWP has been a specialized leader for industrial valve and regulation equipment, specifically built to reliably withstand demanding industrial operating conditions. Their portfolio includes a wide range of valves and components available in national pipe sizes from 1/8 to 20 inches, pressure ratings up to 2,320 psi and temperatures from -76°F to +392°F. Products are manufactured in stainless steel, carbon steel, and low-temperature carbon steel to meet a variety of application requirements. With GEA AWP’s proprietary ValveCalc tool, customers can enter their operating conditions to identify the right valve for their application. Additional information about the product portfolio can be found at awpnorthamerica.com.
The modular manufacturing system at GEA AWP provides a flexible environment to meet specific customer needs. In cases where standard products do not meet application requirements, GEA AWP can provide customized valve solutions with the required dimensions, connections, flanges, outlets, pressure ranges, temperature ranges, and installation lengths. GEA AWP can provide different packing materials to meet specific application needs and support customer traceability requirements. Valves can also be combined into one component, which is factory tested and validated prior to delivery.
GEA AWP components are used across a range of industries, including food and beverage, cold storage, chemical, concrete cooling, oil and gas, marine, ice rinks and indoor ski facilities. They are certified by many of the world’s leading certification and accreditation organizations, meeting regional and national standards of safety and performance reliability.
GEA is one of the world’s largest suppliers of systems and components to the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.
The international technology group, founded in 1881, focuses on machinery and plants, as well as advanced process technology, components and comprehensive services.
