"We are very pleased to support the work of ' Ein Herz für Kinder’ in Germany and all over the world with this donation," says Dr. Nadine Sterley, Chief Sustainability Officer at GEA. "We know that education provides equal opportunities. That's why it's important to us that we promote it among our youngest generation. Especially where children and families need this support financially," said Dr. Nadine Sterley.
GEA links its corporate purpose of "engineering for a better world" with its sustainability goals. These include not only a comprehensive climate strategy but also, among other things, the promotion of integrity and fairness. This includes equitable, inclusive and high-quality education for all. GEA is thus following the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. They serve to secure economically, ecologically and socially sustainable development worldwide.
