Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Strategy
- Develop and execute regional business strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Identify high-potential applications, industries, and market opportunities
- Expand into new or underdeveloped markets and drive market penetration
2. Market Analysis & Competitive Positioning
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
- Develop differentiated value propositions and commercial strategies
- Translate market insights into actionable business plans and growth initiatives
3. Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Acquire new customers and build strong relationships with key accounts and partners
- Establish long-term, trust-based partnerships at multiple organizational levels
- Serve as the primary contact throughout the full project lifecycle
4. Sales & Commercial Performance
- Lead sales activities including client meetings, presentations, and negotiations
- Manage opportunity pipeline and ensure achievement of sales targets
- Grow “share of wallet” within strategic accounts and secure new business wins
5. Technical Consulting & Solution Development
- Understand and clarify customer requirements for emission control and process systems
- Provide consultative selling and develop tailored technical solutions
- Support proposal development and ensure alignment with customer specifications
6. Project Execution & Delivery Support
- Coordinate internally with engineering, application, project management, and service teams
- Support project execution through to completion, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain engagement with clients for long-term cooperation and repeat business
7. Cross-functional & Global Collaboration
- Work within a matrix organization across regional and international teams
- Align with business line leadership and technical experts to deliver solutions
- Leverage global capabilities to strengthen local market position
8. Continuous Improvement
- Optimize sales processes and business development approaches
- Contribute to innovation, operational improvements, and best practice implementation
- Drive efficiency and effectiveness in commercial execution
Your profile and qualifications
Educational Background
- The Technical Foundation: A degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a sophisticated understanding of Thermal Separation Technology (evaporators, vacuum systems, etc.) and their process applications.
Professional Knowledge and Experiences
- Proven Track Record: At least 10 years of successful sales experience, with a demonstrated ability to grow "share of wallet" within strategic accounts and successfully break into new market segments.
- Established Network: You possess an existing, high-quality sales network in at least one core industry (Palm Oil, Chemical, or F&B) and the ability to leverage these ties quickly.
- Strategic Entrepreneurship: You are a result-driven "hunter" with a can-do attitude. You think strategically but act with the speed and passion of a business owner.
- Local Expertise: You are currently based in Indonesia, understand the local business nuances, and have a clear desire for long-term career advancement within a global leader.
Other Skills & Competencies
- good communication and social skills and has excellent knowledge of the English language and are willing to travel
- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions with internal and external stakeholder
