
As Head of Competence Center – Engineering Solutions, you will:
Drive the global strategy and execution of engineering IT solutions.
Lead a diverse team of IT professionals across multiple countries.
Collaborate closely with engineering and product excellence teams globally, to align technology with business goals.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure secure and stable operations for GEAs engineering teams.
Foster innovation, ensure compliance, and deliver operational excellence.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Lead the global IT strategy for engineering applications (CAD, PLM, technical documentation systems).
Manage lifecycle, global rollouts, and vendor relationships for engineering IT solutions.
Collaborate with engineering and product excellence teams to align technology with business needs.
Ensure compliance with governance standards and drive innovation in engineering processes.
Oversee budgets and deliver cost-effective, high-quality IT services globally.
Who you’ll work with:
Report directly to the Senior Vice President Global IT (CIO).
Collaborate with global engineering departments and product excellence teams.
Lead and develop a diverse team of IT professionals across multiple countries.
Work closely with vendors and strategic partners to deliver innovative solutions.
Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in IT application management, including 5+ years in leadership roles.
Strong strategic, operational, and transformation experience in global environments.
Excellent knowledge of engineering systems such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens Teamcenter.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
