About the position
Your responsibilities and tasks
- Lead local data migration activities from preparation through execution for SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Extract, analyse and profile data from legacy systems.
- Identify data quality issues and drive cleansing and remediation activities.
- Define and validate data mappings, transformation rules and business rules.
- Execute mock loads, migration testing and reconciliation activities.
- Support cutover and hypercare phases during go-live.
- Develop insights and reporting related to migration progress and data quality.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Data Owners, Data Stewards, Key Users and IT teams.
- Investigate root causes of data issues and implement sustainable solutions.
- Collaborate with international migration teams across multiple locations.
Your profile and qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data migration, master data management or large-scale data transformation projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data profiling and ETL/data transformation tools.
- Experience with SAP master and transactional data.
- Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA migration approaches and migration tooling is highly desirable.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- Interest in modern data and analytics platforms such as Databricks and Power BI.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Independent, structured and result-oriented working style.
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Europe to support future migration projects.
