每个畜栏都有不锈钢饲料槽，它会在通过桥区域时自动填充饲料。当山羊进入畜栏并低头进食饲料时，将激活头锁系统，使山羊在挤奶期间保持不移动。
挤奶完成后，头锁会自动打开，然后走出挤奶厅。不过，如果山羊需要继续挤奶或治疗，操作员只需在控制面板上按一个按钮，头锁将继续保持闭合状态。
