From tradition to innovation: How does a brewery stay future-ready?

Krombacher and GEA have been working hand in hand since the 1980s. What started with one of Germany’s most iconic pilsner brewers has grown into the country’s largest independent multi-brand brewery – now with more than 30 beverages.

Around 10,000 GEA components – from brewhouse to bottling – keep Krombacher’s processes running smoothly. They not only ensure reliable brewing, filling and production, but also help cut water, energy and material use. This way, automation paves the way for new beverage ideas – and supports Krombacher in achieving its ambitious sustainability goals.
