GEA showcases new GEA brewpub skid for micro-breweries at BrauBeviale

At BrauBeviale, GEA will premiere the new GEA brewpub Separator Skid, developed especially for tavern and pub micro-breweries that produce on site. With this essential skid, small brewpubs now get access to GEA’s state-of the-art centrifuge technology at an attractive starter price. The machine comes as a ready-to-plug skid to immediately deliver all the key benefits of beer clarification with a centrifuge: Reproducible quality, optimal dry hopping and decreased production time, meaning more batches in the same time.

The GEA brewpub Separator Skid is a very compact and cost-effective variant, which boasts the same efficiency advantages as larger GEA separators in a stripped-back unit. “Our brewpub version shows what GEA means by practical innovations,” says Wolf Herberg, Head of Separation Sales at GEA. “Basic automation, extended service intervals and a compact skid design – these are all game-changing features for brewers who have to pay close attention to their operating costs.” Thanks to the centrifuge, a beer’s clarity or turbidity can be precisely calibrated and reproduced.
