飲料に必要な CO2 含有量は、オペレーターの制御ユニットと表示ユニットで設定されます。飽和器を介して CO2 は生成物に添加、分散されて次の飽和パイプセクション内の物理的吸収を可能にします。実際の CO2 含有量は、飽和パイプセクションの端部で CO2 濃度計によって確認されます。このコントローラにより、恒久的なセットポイントと実際の値との比較および CO2 の制御弁のそれぞれの調整が生じます。
本品の監視については、カーボネーションシステムを一部の分析装置で完了可能です (例：初期比重やアルコール含有量の場合)。
