GEA RAY® freeze dryers
The RAY® batch freeze dryers are designed for production of small-to-medium-volume products such as instant coffee and tea, freeze dried fruit, vegetables, meat, seafood and prepared meals. It is also available in a fully sanitary design for freeze drying of bacteria, enzymes, and other bioactive products.
On display at ProPak Asia will be our RAY® Pilot Plant freeze dryer — a batch-based system specifically designed for new product development. It enables users to test and optimize critical process parameters prior to full-scale manufacturing and is also suitable for small-scale production. The equipment provides fully scalable data to help accelerate time-to-market.
Filling and Packaging solutions
Advanced beverage filling technologies enable responsible production with lower resource consumption and consistently high product quality. Aseptic and ultraclean filling systems combine high‑performance container sterilization with precise filling valve technologies, ensuring reliable processing of a wide range of sensitive beverages, still or carbonated, including those with pulp and particles.

GEA BATCH FORMULA® PRO High Shear Mixer
Mixing is a key stage in the production of liquid food products and plays a critical role in achieving the desired consistency and quality. The one-pot GEA BATCH FORMULA® PRO mixer features a high-shear mixing device ideally suited for processing stable, homogeneous liquid formulations. The GEA BATCH FORMULA® PRO high shear mixer incorporates a vacuum system that introduces liquids and powders below the surface, ensuring almost instantaneous wetting. This approach enables faster processing, minimizes air incorporation and foaming, and deaerates the premix - potentially eliminating the need for a separate deaeration step before pasteurization.
