Il principio di base delle pompe a getto consiste nell'emissione ad alta velocità da parte di un ugello di un getto di liquido o di gas nel liquido, nel gas o nel solido circostante che viene così accelerato.
Principio di funzionamento
Il risultato di quest'azione è una miscela di fluido motore e fluido mosso (aspirato), con una riduzione della velocità e un aumento della pressione degli stessi in un secondo ugello.
L'applicazione pratica di questo principio richiede un apparecchio semplice costituito essenzialmente da solo 3 componenti:
- ugello motore
- diffusore
- testa
I sistemi di eiettori hanno un'esecuzione semplice, sono affidabili e richiedono una ridotta manutenzione poiché funzionano senza parti in movimento.
