"We are on a mission to revolutionise the way businesses operate, using cutting-edge technologies and sustainable processes to increase productivity and minimise environmental impact," said Dr Jim Holman, Senior Director for Technology Management, Solid Dosage, at GEA: “Our mission is to revolutionize the way businesses operate by leveraging cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices to enhance productivity and minimize environmental impact,” said Dr Jim Holman, Senior Director for Technology Management, Solid Dosage, at GEA: “We believe in the power of transformation to meet the demands of the present and to shape the world of tomorrow.”
Building on the Add Better label-winning NexGen Press® 30, the larger NexGen Press® 45 offers the same benefits as its smaller sibling, such as the flexibility to adapt to any containment level (up to OEB5) — thanks to the FAST CHANGEOVER Exchangeable Compression Module (FCO ECM). It can also be equipped with the same option packs, making it an extremely agile production system that can be tailored to accommodate a wide range of tableting applications (MUPS, bilayer, poorly flowing products, high yield, microtablets, etc.) and/or different cleaning strategies (wash offline or inline). In addition, every machine in the NexGen® Press range is equipped with six compression modes and benefits from GEA’s unique Air Compensator technology, effectively reducing common compression issues.
“With a maximum output capacity of more the 500,000 tablets per hour, this high-speed large-scale machine is a significant addition to the NexGen Press® portfolio,” Jim commented.
