
The Machine Operator II operates and maintains complex machinery in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include overseeing production, ensuring quality standards, performing advanced troubleshooting, and coordinating with team members. Works independently and may train and support junior operators.
High School Diploma or GED: Required foundational education, providing essential skills in math, reading, and problem-solving.
Machine Operator Experience: Several years operating complex or specialized machinery, with hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, maintenance, and production processes.
Several years of experience operating complex or specialized machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Skilled in setting up and managing advanced machinery with a strong understanding of operational functions and system settings.
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues, as well as performing preventative and corrective maintenance.
Experience with DAVI roller machines is highly preferred, as this role requires operating and maintaining this specific equipment for efficient and precise production.
Works collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance teams, quality control personnel, and colleagues to ensure smooth operations and prompt issue resolution.
Experienced in mentoring and training less experienced operators, promoting knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $20-$23 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States.

Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.
