On September 30, 2025, GEA celebrated its inclusion in the DAX, Germany’s leading stock index, with the traditional opening bell ceremony at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. CEO Stefan Klebert rang the bell to open the day’s trading, marking a significant milestone for the technology company. The DAX comprises the 40 largest and most valuable publicly traded companies in the country.
The ceremony brought together GEA's Executive Board, members of the Supervisory Board, over 100 GEA employees from different countries and business areas as well as representatives of Deutsche Börse in Frankfurt to celebrate the achievement. In his welcoming remarks, Deutsche Börse Board Member Dr. Thomas Book noted that GEA's addition brings top-tier German engineering to the DAX, making the index both stronger and more diverse.
In his address, Klebert spoke with pride about GEA’s successful development – from seven profit warnings to today’s place in the DAX. He emphasized how a culture of reliability, a clear strategy and the dedication of more than 18,000 employees worldwide turned crisis into strength and made this moment possible.
With the symbolic ringing of the opening bell, GEA opens a new chapter, underscoring the company’s commitment to growth, responsibility and "Engineering for a better world."
