Powder Storage

Raw material storage is an essential part of most production processes. In many dairy and food ingredient powder plants, the powder is often stored in silos for prolonged periods of time. It is therefore important to ensure that the properties of the powders are not affected during this time. Our range of silos for both outdoor and indoor application have been designed to ensure that these sensitive powders are not affected by external environmental effects.

When these powdered products are ready to be transferred to a packing or secondary processing plant, our range of silo discharge systems can be applied to suit  the properties of the powder.

To ensure a consistent flow out of the silos, a number of powder feed systems can be supplied, such as gas fluidizing discharge, vibratory discharge, pneumatic discharge and mechanical feeding systems.
