Bag/Sack Powder Fillers

Our range of multi-wall bag/sack fillers is designed to pack powdered products at rates of less than 1 tonne/h up to more than 12 tonnes/h with an accuracy better than 10 g (0.35 oz). Our extensive experience with a wide range of powdered products and packaging types means that we can provide a solution to meet the most demanding powder filling requirements.

GEA can provide fully automated packing lines for low, medium and high production capacities. Starting with the IBF-450 at 4 tonnes/h through to the impressive RBF-1200Li, which is capable of extremely precise packing at rates of up to 12 tonnes/h.

Our filler range feature a bottom-up filling system that minimizes the displacement of air and the resulting dust emissions are dramatically reduced compared with more conventional powder filling systems.

This makes them very clean and safe to operate, and the reduced product losses through better dust control, mean greater product yield for our customers.

PLC control with touch panel operation allows complete control of the packing line from the filler, whilst multiple product configurations held in the control system take care of a wide variety of packing parameters for multiple products. Optional Ethernet connectivity enables both local or remote monitoring and data analysis, using our customers’ SCADA system.

By adding GEA downstream equipment, we can provide our customers with a complete solution for automated bag filling, conditioning and quality checking, which can be combined and matched with any manual or automated palletising system.

All GEA automatic packing lines ensure a high level of performance and reliability, whilst providing ease of operation and maintenance.
