Flash Dryers & Coolers

The Flash dryer is particularly suited to products that dry with a short residence time owing to the easy removal of free moisture or where diffusion to the surface occurs readily.

Flash drying is defined as the drying of particles that are suspended and conveyed in a hot air stream.

Applications include products like sludge, filter cakes, slurries, crystals, granules and pastes; in fact, almost any material where a powdered product is required.

Typical product references for flash drying range from aspirin and copper concentrate to lithium compounds, starches and polymers.
