Single-vessel wort boiling and whirlpool
Save time and cut costs with GEA WORTSTAR® Combi, our combined wort boiling and hot trub separation vessel for higher throughputs and a reduced footprint.
Configured with a flat base and circulation loop, GEA WORTSTAR® Combi combines the functions of a traditional whirlpool and boiler.
Using a speed adjustable wort circulation pump to create a strong centrifugal force, hot trub is efficiently separated and collected in the center of the vessel’s base. The result is a clearer wort, ready for the next stage of brewing.
Increased efficiency – single vessel for boiling and whirlpooling allows for higher throughputs with fewer vessels.
Cost effective – fewer vessels, piping, valves and controls means less to buy, install and maintain.
Space-saving – a reduced footprint allows you to free up valuable floor space, supporting future expansion or brewhouse remodeling.
Faster brew cycles – wort rotation in just 5-10 minutes.,
Improved wort quality – reduced heat holding times means less thermal stress, increasing wort quality.
Optimal performance – GEA’s advanced design provides the same high-quality results as traditional two-vessel set-ups.
Recipe flexibility – easily adjust whirlpooling times to suit any recipe.
Enhanced sustainability – reduced rinsing water consumption and fewer cleaning chemicals used, supports sustainable brewing practices.

Technical and process functions like temperatures, circumferential speeds, agitator design, vessel wall temperatures, physical and biochemical conversions are all characterizing the mashing process in the brewhouse. The effectiveness and quality of the mashing process will influence significantly the wort quality and the character of the finished...

The GEA brewpub separator skid is a ready-to-go centrifuge package unit to clarify beer, wort and other products in brewpubs and smaller breweries. It is the ideal starter skid designed for the particular needs of microbrewies.

Our MILLSTAR® combines the advantages and benefits of conventional wet and dry milling. This method ensures almost perfect husk conservation and optimal grinding of the endosperm, which provides numerous advantages for your brewing process and your final product beer.

GEA QBOIL® integrates the advanced technologies of fed-batch, fractionated boiling, and rectification into a single, highly efficient process. This innovative system significantly reduces energy consumption during wort boiling, making it an essential addition to any modern brewery focused on energy saving.
