
1. Review and oversee monthly closing activities in line with the group closing calendar to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with approved accounting and controlling standards.
2. Ensure correct classification and accounting treatment of transactions in accordance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
3. Ensure timely preparation, review, and submission of all financial and management reports to HQ and local management, in strict adherence to defined reporting deadlines.
4. Prepare and perform monthly variance analysis for Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet items against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
5. Analyze underlying variance drivers and provide clear, structured, and transparent explanations to local management and HQ Controlling.
6. Monitor, control, and reconcile intercompany receivables and balances, ensuring timely clarification and settlement.
7. Support internal, statutory, and group audits by preparing audit schedules and providing timely and accurate clarifications.
8 Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities within financial closing and reporting processes, and proactively recommend process and control enhancements in line with group standards and best practices
