
Assist in the preparation and / or assembly of packaging materials including labeling, sleeving, forming cartons, palletizing, and staging work areas.
Assist in the set-up of production equipment such as tape machines and staplers.
Assist in unloading trucks.
Pick, Pull and Stage delivery orders.
Assist in the loading of delivery vehicles.
Assist in various janitorial duties.
Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the immediate work area.
Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
Follow all manufacturing and warehouse procedures per GMP and FDA requirements.
Receive goods and verify match with packing list
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Be certified to operate various forklift trucks.
Must be able to communicate efficiently with all personnel.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Be familiar with procedures such as lock-out/tag-out, confined space, HAZMAT, forklift safety and various other safety measures.
Required Skills/Abilities:
The employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time.
The employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time.
The employee may be required to walk between different departmental offices.
The employee may be required to frequently stand, stoop, bend, listen, talk, hear, reach for objects with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to walk up and down stairs.
The employee may be required to get in and out of forklift trucks.
The employee is occasionally required to handle up to 750 pounds.
The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $19 - $22 per hour. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
