About the position
Your responsibilities and tasks
- Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for legal entity specifically NPE reporting, ensuring accurate, timely reporting to group headquarters.
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR aging reports, fixed asset ledgers, and stock ledgers.
- Prepare consolidated Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
- Maintain comprehensive, high-quality documentation for external audit preparation and act as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS, IAS, and local statutory financial reporting requirements.
- Ensure tax compliance and full support and cooperation during Tax Audit.
- Manage treasury operations, including daily cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and intercompany transactions.
- Develop and execute FX hedging strategies to mitigate currency risk, including preparing derivative valuations and ensuring hedge accounting compliance.
- Oversee banking relationships, including application, renewal, and management of Bank Guarantee and L/C.
- Coordinate the annual budgeting process, collecting and consolidating inputs from various departments.
- Prepare monthly financial forecasts and analyze variances between actuals and budgeted spending.
- Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to senior management to guide strategic decision-making and cost optimization.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and reduce financial risk.
- Identify and correct inefficiencies within the accounting department to streamline processes.
Your profile and qualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting from a reputable university.
Tax Brevet A&B and C
Having at least 10 years of solid accounting background in MNC environment, preferably Engineering or Trading company
Good understanding of IFRS/PSAK Accounting standards.
Taking initiatives, plans and organize own tasks effectively to ensure that work is completed on time and to the required standard.
Good organization skills due to the need to work in a relatively fast paced MNC environment.
Good communication skills to effectively manage the tasks with internal colleagues and external service providers.
Sets priorities, knows how to get things done, understands cultures of organizations, understands rationale behind policies, procedures and practices
Always open for new things and builds on proven success strategies.
Good working knowledge of ERP systems Sage Accpac and SAP
