About the position
Your responsibilities and tasks
- To assist and work with NPE Head of Engineering in defining and implement the strategy for the Automation & Commissioning department
- Ensure project automation compliance with customer specifications, functional analysis, GEA norms and automation standards.
- Document Automation Engineering according to GEA procedures.
- Functional analysis development.
- If necessary, organize, coordinate, monitor and control the development work for control assigned to the project.
- Organize and initiate the implementation of the automation project in strict compliance with the budget framework. Seek for budget improvement according the quality and deadlines restrictions.
- Preserving GEA interest in the contract on-site with regard to any changes in automation.
- Participate and contribute to productivity improvement projects, as well as the innovation approach in the automation domain.
- Meet regulatory safety regulations in force on the site, or established by GEA.
- Evaluate constantly its own safety and the supplier’s safety during commissioning.
- Promote the sharing of skills and ideas across teams

Technical Skills
Know manufacturing processes in the beverage or dairy or food industry.
CIP Know-how
Hygienic design know-how.
Generate pre-engineering of automation development.
Scheduler of automation activities
Model control sequences according to P&IDs
List of entities, equipment controls, control modules and devices
Designed FDS.
Dimensioning, software and hardware list generation for automation architecture.
Develop automation engineering, using ISA Standards.
Review existing process engineering and make necessary changes to support project execution when necessary.
PLC programming of process and CIP sequences.
HMI and SCADA programming.
Setup different Industrial protocol networks
Setup IO periphery
Setup and commissioning VFDs
FAT Procedures.
