
As International Project Manager, you are responsible for all activities related to project management, such as stakeholder management, planning, costs, scope, and contract management. You lead project teams and work closely with various internal departments such as sales, supply chain, and finance. You also maintain relationships with various clients.
Your tasks:
Monitoring the project in terms of technical, financial, and organizational aspects.
Together with your project team, delivering engineering, procurement, logistics, on-site installation, and commissioning.
Performing project risk assessments and analyzing and mitigating bottlenecks.
Maintaining customer contact throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Managing change orders (additional and reduced work).
Delivering and transferring the project to the client in accordance with contractual requirements.
Communicating with internal stakeholders and sister companies (many projects are carried out with GEA NPE (Nutrition Plant Engineering) entities).
Documenting agreements in writing and preparing the critical path (Gantt chart).
Pursuing variation orders when the client does not meet agreed commitments.
You have completed a technical bachelor’s degree (applied sciences) or master’s degree, supplemented with project management experience in a technical environment.
Knowledge and experience in industrial refrigeration is a plus.
You are a team player, communicatively strong, and fluent in both Dutch and English (spoken and written).
Depending on project complexity, you demonstrate inventiveness, creativity, technical insight, flexibility, decisiveness, organizational skills, and adaptability to achieve better results or prevent issues.
