
As an IT Business Application Consultant (SAP MM S/4HANA), you translate business requirements into optimized procurement and inventory processes. You configure S/4HANA MM functionalities, guide users through testing and training, and ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules. By applying SAP best practices and new S/4HANA innovations, you help organizations improve efficiency and data accuracy across the supply chain.
Your tasks & responsibilities:
Analyze and design procurement and inventory processes using S/4HANA best practices and Fiori applications.
Configure MM components (Procurement, Inventory Management, Valuation, Invoice Verification) and ensure accurate master data.
Execute data migration activities using SAP Migration Cockpit/LTMC and manage Material/Vendor master data quality.
Collaborate with FI, SD, PP, and WM/EWM consultants to ensure seamless end‑to‑end process integration.
Develop functional specifications, perform unit/integration/UAT testing, and validate Fiori and backend processes.
Create documentation, deliver key-user and end-user training, and support change management.
Provide go-live and hypercare support to stabilize processes and resolve issues.
Stay current with S/4HANA innovations (e.g., analytics, automation, AI/ML) and recommend system enhancements.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
5+ years of professional experience as an SAP MM S/4HANA Consultant, preferably in the plant and mechanical engineering industry.
Strong understanding of the procurement lifecycle and inventory management processes.
Excellent analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to translate business needs into effective SAP solutions.
High customer orientation combined with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross‑functional teams.
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken.
