TriOxyCideTM is a pre and post-milking antiseptic teat solution with a powerful tri-germicidal blend of Hydrogen peroxide, Lactic acid, and DDBSA. The synergistic properties of these germicidal ingredients help to generate a powerful and effective kill rate against key mastitis-causing organisms, while at the same time being gentle on teat skin. TriOxyCideTMformula includes 5% Glycerin and is further enhanced with Lactic acid to prevent skin irritation and to keep teats soft and pliable.
DeuxSeptтм - NOW APPROVED FOR AMS
DeuxSeptTM is a two-part chlorine dioxide (2 300 ppm) teat dip solution for pre and post-milking. When DeuxSeptTM base and activator are mixed, very powerful germicides are produced, which have been proven to kill bacteria, viruses and fungi. As a post dip, DeuxSeptTM is excellent at skin exfoliation, promoting smooth and healthy teat skin. It contains 5% emollient, enhanced with lactic acid to prevent skin irritation and to keep teats soft and pliable.
Apprehendтм
ApprehendTM is a chlorhexidine acetate-based teat dip formulated with two skin conditioning ingredients and a buffered pH to keep teats soft and pliable.
- Chlorhexidine formulated with 0.52% Acetate
- Provides a broad-spectrum kill of mastitis pathogens that can cause intramammary infections
- Formulated with two emollients (PVP and Glycerin) to promote skin conditioning

Iodine Based Products
Armor®
Unlike some teat dips classified as barriers, Armor® contains a film-forming agent that form a protective germicidal coating over the entire teat. This durable coating provides added milking-to-milking mastitis protection. The soft, film-forming product dries quickly and is not sticky. When teats are exposed to moisture, the iodine contained within the barrier will reactivate and become lethal to mastitis-causing organisms. Many barrier teat dips dry slowly and contain compounds which attract foreign matter to the teat.
Teat-Kote®, Teat-Kote® 10/III and Teat-Kote® 10/III RM
Teat-Kote®is a 1% (10 000 ppm) iodine teat dip, formulated to be effective for use in post-dipping applications. The Teat-Kote®10/III adds to the original formulation GEA's triple emollient ingredients enhancing the ability to keep cow's teats soft and pliable. The RM solution is the same as Teat-Kote®10/III and is specially formulated to work with the In-Liner post-dipping process used with GEA AMS.
Theratec® and Theratec® Plus
Theratec®is a ready-to-use 0.5% (5 000 ppm) iodine teat dip, formulated to be safe and effective for use in pre- and post-dipping applications. It contains surfactants which provides excellent wetting qualities to help coat the teat and clean residual soils from teats when used as a pre-dip. Theratec®Plus contains a higher levels of emollient glycerin than the original version, enhancing the ability to keep cow's teats soft and pliable.
TheraprepTM
TheraprepTM is a 0.26% (2 600 ppm) iodine teat solution, effective for dip, spray, or foaming applications.
