GEA Aseptic filling lines - discover our interactive online training

The new online training offer has been introduced by GEA to train its customers in a cost-effective and efficient way, allowing them to increase their aseptic line performance, reduce maintenance costs, achieve a safe working environment and develop more motivated employees.

It is important for line managers, maintenance and quality teams, line operators, automation engineers and all supporting staff have a thorough understanding of the machines they work with to achieve the top operational performance of an aseptic filling line.  A comprehensive, multi-stage training offer has always been a key part of a ‘transfer of competence program’ developed to enable GEA customers to operate at their best, with maximum autonomy and safety.

During the current pandemic-related travel restrictions, GEA is promoting a range of on-line training courses for a learning program that is not influenced by a trainer or customer's location. The GEA on-line trainers use a range of e-learning tools including presentations, 3D animations and videos, all combined into an interactive learning concept. On demand, the online trainings can be integrated with practical classroom sessions at customers' facilities or at GEA Centre of Competence for Blowing, Filling & Packaging (Sensitive Beverages) premises.

GEA’s efforts is to continue to integrate face-to-face practical courses with an ever-wider online offer,to give customers the opportunity of choosing the learning system that best meets their needs in terms of location and commitment.

What GEA Customers will learn:

  • Aseptic filling philosophy: microbiology concepts, hygienic design principles, sterilization techniques
