وقد تم تزويد العازل بوعاء جدار مصمت. يتدفق المنتج من خلال تغذية محكمة الغلق بالماء، مما يقلل من قوة القص للمنتجات الحساسة، ويتم تقسيمها إلى مرحلة خفيفة ومرحلة ثقيلة في القرص المكدس. يتم تفريغ المكونات المنفصلة تحت الضغط عن طريق المضخات الجابذة المقابلة من خلال المنافذ. يزيد استخدام القرص المكدس من منطقة التوضيح المكافئ S للعازل عدة مرات مقارنة بجهاز الطرد المركزي بنفس الحجم الذي يتكون من غرفة واحدة.
