How COMPACT-STAR® works
COMPACT-STAR® is a brewhouse with standalone, pre-assembled vessels that can be configured to fit your own floorplan. Suitable for batch sizes between 50hl to 120hl, GEA’s step-by-step expansion model means you can also add extra brewhouse vessels to increase plant capacity up to 350,000hl/a .

Designed for success
The small footprint of the COMPACT-STAR® means it’s easy to ship and the vessel modules can be freely positioned for a fully flexible brewhouse design. Plus, optional GEA MILLSTAR® wet milling technology offers faster lautering and higher throughputs, and the internal calandria with a multi-level wort spreader and GEA JETSTAR® two-phase boiling technology provides eco-friendly wort production. Fitted with a GEA-designed grist hydrator and mash agitator, additional specifications include the following:

GEA’s past fiscal year was one of significant growth and further profitability gains. In particular, the technology group substantially increased order intake, with all divisions contributing here.
