The challenge we solve
Modern control systems are highly reliable, but complex. Beyond obvious hardware faults, issues can arise from unforeseen process conditions, untested scenarios, or faulty input signals. In these cases, only direct action in PLC code and expert diagnosis can quickly restore normal operation.
For plants running at (or near) full capacity, especially with high-value products, every minute counts. Waiting for business hours, arranging travel, and mobilizing on-site expertise increases losses. Building equivalent competencies in-house is not always feasible, and third-party support rarely matches the process and automation know-how embedded in GEA Codex®.
How GEA Codex® RemotePartner works
When an incident occurs, a GEA automation engineer is on call within your guaranteed response time to start analyzing the issue. With direct, secure access to your control system, we can:
- Diagnose faster than with logs alone
- Implement a permanent fix or a safe temporary workaround to resume production
- Prepare GEA Service for any follow-up, remotely or on-site, with the right plan and parts
What you gain
- Faster incident resolution and fewer production interruptions
- Predictable support with clear SLAs
- Expertise aligned to GEA Codex® standards and your specific process
- A scalable path toward Performance Partnership, focused on outcomes, not just break/fix
