For more than 25 years, the GEA CookStar has been the leading oven in the food industry. The third generation GEA CookStar has evolved into a three-phase cooking concept, with the ability to cook any product in virtually any style. Combining the double spiral oven technology with the SuperHeatSmoke concept, enables food processors with in-line production to produce and brand their products with a CleanSmoke label. SuperHeatSmoke is the innovative and award-winning solution for in-line smoking of meat, poultry, seafood and meal components, and is generated using a Red Arrow purified smoke condensate.

  • Cooking, baking, roasting and smoking can all take place at the same time in one spiral oven

GEA MaxiFormer - rotary drum former for meat products

GEA’s MaxiFormer is the next step in high-capacity drum forming for the continuous production of poultry, pork and meat-replacement products such as nuggets, burgers and steaks. The unique patented, low-pressure portioning system in combination with the world-class meat pomp from Handtmann, provides a better weight control and therefor a 50% lower standard deviation and significantly less product give-away.

  • Excellent weight accuracy and shape retention (50% lower standard deviation)
  • Low product wastage from leakage (smearing)

GEA Pavan extrusion twin screws, the heart of the cutting-edge technology for cereals extrusion: TT92evo.

TT92evo

The TT92evo twin-screw extruder demonstrates that combining the impressive 1.2 tph capacity with the widest range of cereal based pellets snacks is a possible challenge. 

It's equipped with a high-speed premixer for a perfect hydration of flours, a large mixing vessel to allow the dough a proper water absorption, vertical forced feeding screw to control the feeding flow to the cooking screw.

The variable speed motor is equipped with safety clutch and double cascade gearbox with high torque. Its particular design, with long modular barrel and co-rotating fully intermeshing twin screws, assures a proper cooking of the cereal based dough: the best combination between time, temperature and mechanical work input.
